Our Story
Hospital clinic closures and other threats to care required action.
In 2025, parents of trans youth and gender-affirming care providers concerned with the direction of youth care in the United States decided it was time to take action. While others were closing their doors and bowing to political pressure, we decided to start fundraising to support those most impacted by the changes: low-income youth. Thus, the Relief & Equity Support for Patient-Centered Transcare (RESPCT) fund was born.
